Rules Change - Dynasty league? - Rejected

What do people think about slowing altering this from a "keeper" league to more of a "dynasty" league?

In essence, we would have a goal of incremental increasing of keeper numbers in the next few years... This would also give people that like to keep projects some wiggle room to keep those DeSean Jacksons or Donnie Averys..

So what I propose is..

5 keepers at the end of this year
6 keepers at the end of 2010

Then we'll have a vote to see if we want to continue this at the end of 2010

7 keepers at the end of 2011
8 keepers at the end of 2012

Nay. I like the changes we have made.

Edit: I could be convinced of this if we did a total redraft but that won't happen =)

Nay for now. I think we should play our current league for one more year and then I'd be for the change to a dynasty setting. This way it gives our two expansion teams a little more time to settle themselves back into the football world of things.

Nay. A 14 team dynasty league would be a bit much...now, or even in the future. I too like the format we have now, besides, I would imagine drafts would eventually be akin to playing the lottery and also very boring in my opinion.

Nay. I am with whoever said that they would be for it if we did a full on redraft auction style- only then will a dynasty league make sense to me.

Anyone up for doing a parallel league (maybe of the 8 owners who would be interested) to see how it goes?

Although we all have the right to start other leagues, I worry about how that might take away or diminish the interest in this league if we start a parallel one. Just a thought

I'm pretty sure some of us already have 2-3 leagues going on at the same time, another one won't hurt.
