Christmas Shopping for Me

Oh, it is that sometimes dreaded, but still wonderful time of the year - Christmas! For most people, you can get a sense of what they want and with few exceptions (like people not coordinating and giving the same present to one person), Christmas shopping is a relatively simple and easy chore.

But shopping for me is like shopping for your father, I already have most everything I need and for those stuff that I desire (I use this term very loosely because while I may want a big screen TV, I can really do without one!), they are usually way overpriced for anyone’s budget.

Despite my own advisory column item #2, I will not be posting my list on my website (at list not in a public area for all to read). In fact, I am still trying to figure out what I want for Christmas. Yes, it is hard even for me to buy myself stuff (Fatwallet, notwithstanding).

Christmas Shopping Made Easy

1. Give hints about what you want, the word will get around.
2. Make a list and post it on your homepage.
3. Cycle lists between all your friends.
4. Make sure the list is big enough so that getting the same gift is very unlikely.
