1. There’s always something to do…so make a list and check it off
2. Defer your pleasure. Even with a lot of free time (or should I say “Especially when you have a lot of free time), you should still do the essential stuff first before playing video games, er…doing fun stuff.
3. If you really want a job, you will actually try to get one (and no, sitting in front of a computer and submitting resumes to random email addresses does not constitute “trying”.
4. Play fantasy sports…it’s a real time killer…especially in September and October when all four major professional sports are going simultaneously.
