- There is never a good time to bring up something that is unpleasant. If they are already mad, you will make them madder. If they are happy, you will make them mad. No win situation there.
- Sometimes it is surprisingly easy how something you thought would be difficult to obtain or negotiate will work out just right or be resolved without much trouble. The lesson here is that you need to bring a problem up first before it ever gets resolved.
- Other times, you can do nothing further besides bringing it up. So just let the river run its course. Do you really think harassing someone over and over again about an issue is going to make that person more likely to help you out?
