- Err on the side of caution. If you are unsure of how to do things (i.e. dress) or even if you have been told how things are done, you should try to be careful and overdo things rather than just meeting expectations.
- Ask a lot of questions. You are expected to not know about how things work exactly in a new environment. But a word of caution here: there will probably be things that fall underneath your job category that you just need to figure out yourself that will show that you can figure things out for yourself.
- Be yourself. Nothing is worse than being fired while trying to impress by doing things out of your personality. Might as well get fired for being yourself.
